Scope of Works |
Award winning design and construction of 50 affordable homes for The Wrekin Housing Trust. Including 11 supported accommodation flats, a resources centre and 2-3 bedroom terrace and semi-detached properties. All 50 of the properties achieved Level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes (CfSH) under the November 2010 Version. In order to achieve this, we incorporated a number of features including; internal and external water saving methods including the provision of water butt. A comprehensive waste management plan during the construction process, leaving behind a communal compost bin for the use of residents. Working closely and forming a relationship with the client, local council and agents has been critical in the success of this development and has also enabled us to be awarded with more contracts. This site was also registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme and achieved 33/50, scoring highly through the site appearance, respect for the local community and the protection of the environment. |
